In our efforts to provide more information and resources for our Eastern Orthodox Troops and their religious well-being, the Saint George Orthodox Military Association (SGOMA) has added a special page to its website for the benefit of our Orthodox Brothers & Sisters who are proudly serving in the NATO Forces around the world. The new page can be found on SGOMA’s website at:

http://orthodoxmilitary.org/NATO_Forces.html

The USA and its NATO Allies have a long history of joint service and Armed Forces cooperation, and we at SGOMA are honored to follow suit with this web page. We encourage our Orthodox Brethren in NATO to visit this page often and to feel free to participate in any and all of SGOMA’s dialog and resource sharing.

Many times, while on deployment, our U.S. Orthodox Troops are not close to any U.S. Orthodox Military Chaplains. It is SGOMA’s hopes that we can provide various NATO Orthodox Chaplain information/links/contacts so that our Orthodox Troops and our non-Orthodox Chaplains can us to try to find the closest Orthodox Chaplain in a deployed area, from either the U.S or NATO Forces.

SGOMA would like to send a great big “Thank you” to our NATO Allied Brothers and Sisters in arms for standing by our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Guardsmen of U.S. Armed Forces over the years! We stand with you allied in both Force and Orthodoxy!
