April 10, on the day of the fatal plane crash, in the chapel of the Orthodox Ordinary of Polish Army a panikhida was served for archbishop Miron and other victims of the disaster.

The prayer was attended by the employees of the Orthodox Ordinary of the Polish Army, the faithful and the family of the deceased archbishop. There was also a condolence book in memory of archbishop Miron, where everyone could express his sorrow.

Unfortunately, among the fourteen bodies, which could be immediately identified, there was no archbishop Miron. Yesterday morning, with the blessings of metropolitan Sawa, fr. Michał Dudicz and Fr. Aleksy Andrejuk went to Moscow along with other families of the deceased.
